Available Hours?
Monday - Friday  8-12 & 1-5

How to request a prescription refill?
Most ongoing prescriptions can be refilled by phone if you have been seen within the last six months. Call our office at least one week before running out & leave the following information with the receptionist: patient name, medication name, dose and pharmacy location. By close of business, the refill will be called to your pharmacy or a Medical Assistant will contact you for additional information if needed. 

New patient policy?

Preventive Services?
Well-child visits & immunizations; well-woman exams & pap smears; sports physicals; DOT physicals; routine labs (cholesterol screening, diabetes screening, prostate screening, etc.); orders provided for any additional preventive services needed (mammogram, colonoscopy, etc.)

Scheduling appointments?
All visits are by appointment only. Please call the office to schedule an appointment. To cancel an appointment, contact us at least 24 hours in advance. 

What if I am sick?
Acute illness & urgent problems can typically be addressed on the same day. Contact our office at (931) 528-7797 & we will make every reasonable attempt to schedule you right away.  Please call our office first.  We are here to provide quality care so you can avoid a walk-in clinic.

What if it is after hours?
For a life threatening emergency, dial 911. For urgent medical problems or questions that cannot wait until regular office hours, you can reach Dr. Gotcher, Dr. Buchanan or the doctor on call by calling the hospital operator at (931) 528-2541.

Who will see me if I am admitted to the hospital?
In the event that you are admitted to the hospital, Dr. Gotcher, Dr. Buchanan or the doctor on call will follow your care throughout your hospitalization.

Payment policy?
Payment and/or copayment are due at the time of service. If we are a participating provider of your insurance, we will file your claim with the information you provide at the time of service.   Any remaining balance after we file your insurance is due within 30 days. To make payment arrangements, please contact our office.  We accept cash, check, MasterCard and Visa.

Insurance accepted?
We participate in most insurance plans and networks: including Medicare, Aetna, Blue Cross, Cigna, Signature Health Alliance, PHCS & UHC. Since participation can change frequently, please contact our office or your insurance company to verify network participation.
